It's been a long time!

I have fallen off the wagon big time - and with no excuses.  I haven't done much of anything in the last 8-9 months, but I'm feeling better and am interested in all of my hobbies again.  I've made Alex a pair of short, a cute little dress for my niece Krista's new daughter, and I've been scrapbooking.  My latest project has been redoing this:

(The scrapbook my mom made that is falling apart)

Into this:

(the title page in my new scrapbook, using scans of my mom's own handwriting)

While searching for more pictures, I found a bunch that would be of interest to my Meagher clan members, so watch for more from me!  In the meantime, here's a tidbit:

This is Bill Meagher, my grandfather, with my mom, Mary, her sister Betty (looking over her right shoulder) and little brother Jack at a Nativity display.  I scanned this from a large 8 x 10 print that appears to be taken by a newspaper photographer.  I wonder if it appeared in the Peterborough Examiner circa 1945-46 judging from Jack's age.  I'll have to put this on the list of things to check at the Archives the next time I'm in Peterborough.

very cool! My mom says she remembers the picture and she thinks her Dad took them to the Outboard Marine Christmas party at the pcvs auditorium and they had a nativity. who are the people holding you when you were a baby? (your mom and someone else?)
