Gwendolyn Anne Fraser was born September 10, 1893 in Truro, Nova Scotia to George Hamilton Fraser and Julia Geddes Fraser. She was the fifth child, and fourth daughter (two more sisters followed).
In 1905, George packed up his family and moved to Labrador, and then 1906 to the new province of Alberta. They settled in the capital city of Edmonton, where this picture was taken circa 1910.
Her relationship to Mary is: maternal grandmother.
